Clarification of project scope

As there seems to be rumours as to what exactly is covered by this current evaluation project, we would like to clarify the following:

  • In total 8-10 new exemption requests or existing exemptions will be reviewed.
  • The EU Commission will identify which requests or existing exemptions this includes in the course of the project. The contractor will then be mandated with the evaluation on a case-by-case basis.
  • Currently the contractor has been mandated only with the evaluation of one new exemption request (cf. first online stakeholder consultation).
  • Stakeholders that have registered will be informed on time about new evaluation mandates.
