Stakeholder consultation on adaptation to scientific and technical progress under Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment for the purpose of a possible amendment of the Annex.
This first stakeholder consultation ran from 22.01.2010 until 29.03.2010 and covered request 1 "Cadmium in photoresistors for analog optocouplers applied in professional audio equipment until 31 December 2013". The consultation is closed. The final recommendation is published at the EU CIRCA website.

Unconfidential information submitted during the consultation will be posted on the EU CIRCA website. Further exchange with stakeholders will be held after the consultation has ended for those issues where further need for information and / or need for (technical) discussion has been identified.
