Stakeholder consultation on adaptation to scientific and technical progress under Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment for the purpose of a possible amendment of the Annex.
This fourth stakeholder consultation ran from 06.12.2010 to 14.02.2011 and covered two exemption requests:
Exemption request 3 "Cadmium as a pigment for use in vitreous enamel"
Exemption request 4 "Restriction of exemption 1 to non-liquid mercury"

Unconfidential information submitted during the consultation will be posted on the EU CIRCA website. Further exchange with stakeholders will be held after the consultation has ended for those issues where further need for information and / or need for (technical) discussion has been identified.
