Stakeholder consultation on two exemption requests from the substance restrictions in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS Directive)
The stakeholder consultation shall run for 10 weeks from 30 November 2021 to 08 February 2022 and covers two new exemptions:
Request 2021-1 for "Mercury in melt pressure transducers for capillary rheometers at temperatures over 300°C and pressures over 1000 bar"
Request 2021-2 for "Bis (ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) as a plasticizer in polyvinyl chloride (PVC), serves as a base material for amperometric, potentiometric and conductometric electrochemical sensors which are used in in-vitro diagnostic medical devices for the analysis of whole blood"

Further exchange with stakeholders will be held after the consultation has ended for those issues where further need for information and / or need for (technical) discussion has been identified.
